Oversized Nut Modifications | Resizing & Reshaping Nuts

At Allied Threaded Metals, we pride ourselves on being able to modify components to get jobs done. To do this, we tap over one million nuts per year. Allied is capable of tapping and modifying hex, square, and round nuts. ATM specializes in oversized nut tapping. Oversized nut tapping is great for a number of coatings, such as hot-dip galvanizing, PTFE, Teflon, xylan, fluorokote #1, and sermagard. We are capable of tapping nuts between ¼” to 4” in diameter.

Allied Threaded Metals has been in the specialty fasteners industry for over 50 years. We have manufactured all kinds of parts and pieces for a myriad of industries. We have even modified standard nuts into jam, slotted, and spherical faced nuts. No job is too big or too small. And if you need a quick turnaround time, we can meet it.
